Another fine Alfold performance bowling and fielding superbly, all catches held with Adrian Erricker starting the destruction claiming the first 3 wickets and Richard Harwood polishing the remaining 7 wickets to close the Shottermill innings. Kenny Harding then briskly set about finishing the game quickley hitting an unbeaten 21. Alfold 12 valuable league points from this fixture.

Alfold gave their best fielding and bowling display of the year keeping Oakwood Hill restricted to a low 110 from 45 overs (Oakwood Hill could not decide who to give the Alfold fielder award to as everyone was superb, eventually they plumped for Richard Harwood! - enough said.) Richard Harwood 2 - 16 and Adrian Erricker 3 - 16 the pick of the bowlers, (but ably supported by Keith Hairs, Tim Pullen, Dale Briggs & Richard Covey) Alfold set about the 110 run target with some ease cruising with the loss of 4 wickets. Hot shots were Peter Leete 35 and Tim "rapier" Pullen 35 saw Alfold past the post with 16 overs to spare.

After two defeats at the hands of Bramley and Holmbury St Mary it was looking pretty bleak going into a game against Rudgwick a team Alfold have never beaten in the League. Alfold won the toss and elected to field a good choice as Rudgwick are a good team when chasing a score, declaring on 160 for 8 leaving Alfold a target of 161 from 45 overs. It wasn't looking promising at the half way stage being 50 - 2, then Andy Leete set about demolishiong the bowling attack cracking a season best 80 with  support from Tim Pullen 31 a vital 12 points taken from this victory.

Alfold  defeat Bramley in first game of the season. Alfold clinched 12 vital league points in the opening League game of season. Alfold won the toss and elected to field, Bramley set a target of 153 to win from 45 overs, with Alfold passing the total with 5 overs to spare
